DEUT. 6:4
No matter how you put it, it plainly states in the scripture one LORD.
Trinitarians will try to argue this point and say God is a God of three persons. Their favorite scriptures
are: Gen. 1:26, St Math. 28:19, St. Mark 1:10-11.
In the book of Isaiah 9:6, Isaiah 43:10-13,, Isaiah 45:5-7 and 18-23, Isaiah 46:9-10. All these
scriptures refer to ONE, not three persons.
Now to go farther, Isaiah 44:6, Isaiah 48:12 refers to HIM being the first and the last. How ironic, in
the book of Revelation 1:8, Rev 1:11, 17 & 18, Rev. 22:12-13, Jesus refers to himself as the first and
the last. Notice also in Rev. 1:8, He (Jesus) is referred as the Almighty! HOW MANY
ALMIGHTY'S ARE THERE?
In Gen 1:1 it says "In the beginning
God"' Also in St John 1:1 it says "In the beginning Was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God."
Also in St John 1:2 "The same was in the beginning with God."
St John 1:3 "All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made."
Now let us consider St John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
Now we see that the Word is the creator according to St John 1:3.
Now, what is God? He is a spirit which fills all time and all space, but before He was God, He was just
a spirit without form. To become God, He had to have a creation and that would make Him the
creator.
Now, this spirit always was and He was a spirit that possessed attributes of creator, healer and a
Father, but to do this He had to speak all things into existence. He knew all things and knew he wanted
to create a form so He spoke into existence a spiritual body to dwell in (the Word). From this Word all
creation came forth.
Now this spirit is now God and the Father of creation. Keep in mind this is still one spirit and one
person. God now in a spiritual body (the Word) which He spoke.
We also know that God is Holy and still a spirit. Now this would make Him then a Holy Spirit. This is
still the same Spirit, Father and Word.
Now in Gen 1:26 where it says "Let us make men in our image, after our likeness:" Who was God talking to? He was talking the Word and the Word with Him. Keep in mind this does not make three persons in the Godhead but just God in the office of the Father, talking with the Word and the Word talking to the Father. Now you might say, where was the Holy Spirit? Remember, God is spirit and He is Holy. Now we see God now starting to move on down to the human form as mentioned in St. John 1:1 and St John 1:14 - God in human flesh.
In the book of Col. 2:9 It says, All the fulness of the Godhead dwelt in Jesus bodily. In other words all
that God was He poured into Jesus Christ.
Now as we close, remember what John the revelator said in the book of Rev.4:2 "And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Notice, John did not see three but one.
There He was, The Lord God Almighty, The Lord Jesus Christ.
Praise God, the Alpha and Omegea, the First the Last the Beginning and the End, God.
